IB Middle Years

Programme Introduction
IB Middle Years
The MYP emphasizes a student-centered approach that blends traditional subjects with modern educational practices. Through structured inquiry and contextual learning, students develop the skills needed for success in school and beyond. Teachers facilitate exploration while students take increasing responsibility for their own learning.
THE MYP
LEARNING MODEL
At the core of the MYP is the learner, surrounded by the essential elements that drive their development. The model incorporates global contexts, interdisciplinary learning, and personal projects, all rooted in international-mindedness and action. Eight subject groups work together to offer a balanced, interconnected education.
THE MYP
Personal Model
The Personal Project is a cornerstone of the final year in the MYP, allowing students to explore an area of personal interest. This project promotes independent learning and reflection, requiring students to apply ATL skills and demonstrate initiative, organization, and critical thinking.
