As the a bilingual, English and Arabic language, IB Curriculum School in Dubai, Dar Al Marefa strives to create a community of curious and confident lifelong learners. We offer the entire spectrum of IB Curriculum programmes: The Primary Years Programme (PYP) in the elementary school, and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) in the secondary school, in English and Arabic.

Entry Requirements
Prekg , KG1 & KG2 Pre-Requisites
Students enrolling in the IB PYP Early Years Education Programme must meet the age requirements in accordance with KHDA guidelines and regulations. Additionally, all students are required to be toilet-trained.
Arabic Language
All students are required to learn Arabic in accordance with the UAE Ministry of Education regulations. Classes are tailored for both native and non-native speakers, and the curriculum incorporates the Ministry of Education syllabus.Additionally, students holding passports from the Arab countries listed below must attend Arabic A for native speakers until the end of Grade 12: UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Syria, Bahrain, Iraq, Yemen, Oman, Mauritania, Libya, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti, and the Union of Comoros. Students from non-Arab countries may take Arabic B, which aligns with KHDA regulations and policies.
Islamic Studies
In line with the UAE Ministry of Education regulations, students identified as Muslim (as indicated on their passport or during the admissions process through the religion option) are required to take Islamic Education until the end of Grade 12.Students can choose between Islamic A (taught in Arabic) or Islamic B (taught in English) based on their passport nationality. Both Islamic A and B courses include the Ministry of Education syllabus for Islamic Education within the curriculum.
