Applying to Dar Al Marefa Made Simple

A 4 Step Process for Joining Our Dar Al Marefa Family

Step 1

Online Application

 All applications are submitted online through our website, as we do not accept paper applications.

During the application process, you will be asked to provide general information about your child, your contact details, and upload the required preliminary documents to complete the application.

You can expect to receive a confirmation within one to four business days confirming that your application has been received and reviewed.

Please note that progression to Step 2 depends on seat availability at the time of application. Additionally, to proceed to the documentation stage, a non-refundable application fee is required to be paid prior the assessment.

Documentation

Please ensure that all required documents are submitted prior to attending your assessment appointment.

Kindly scan and email the documents in advance to admissions@daralmarefa.ae.

Please note that failure to fully disclose information regarding a child’s additional learning needs may put the child’s place at the school at risk.

  • Student Documents
    • Passport
    • Valid Residence Visa
    • Emirates ID
    • Photo
    • Birth Certificate
  • Parents' Documents
    • Parents passports
    • Valid Residence Visas
    • Emirates ID
  • School Report & Transfer Certificate
    • Most recent school report for all G2 to G12 applicants
    • Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
  • Medical Records
    • Vaccination Card
    • Filled DHA Medical Form ( School will provide with a copy on the day of the assessment)
    • Any medical records should the school be aware of
  • Diagnostic testing, psychological or educational assessment (if applicable)
    • The school requires a copy of any Diagnostic testing or educational assessment (if applicable) for your child.
  • DMS conduct for all G1 to G12 applicants (if applicable)
    • For all students from Grade 1 to 12, Dar Al Marefa required the DMS conduct for to be filled from their previous school and sent to admissions@daralmarefa.ae
Step 3
  • Primary Phase (Pre KG – G1)
    • For Prekg to KG2 & G1 Your child will be invited for an informal play base assessment at the school, either in a group setting or one-on-one. For families based outside of Dubai, alternative arrangements will be made.
  • Primary Phase (Grade 2 – Grade 5)
    • Students applying for Grades 2 to 5 will complete a computerized Cognitive Ability Test (CAT4).
  • MYP-DP (Grade 6 to Grade 12)
    • For Grades 6 to 12, students will undertake a computerized knowledge assessment (Arabic, English, Mathematics, and Science), in addition to the CAT4 and an interview to determine their academic level. We will contact you with the date and time of your child’s assessment, which will be conducted by the school admissions and academic team in Dar Al Marefa campus.

Assessment

If places are available, you will receive an invitation to submit further information and/or schedule an assessment. Acceptance and Registration

Following the assessment, and upon receiving an acceptance letter, a registration deposit fee will be required to secure the seat. Please note that a seat cannot be reserved until the deposit payment is received. The deposit amount will be specified in the acceptance letter.
